Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Compress Image ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our Android application to compress and resize images. By using Compress Image, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Offline Processing

Compress Image performs all image compression, resizing, and quality adjustments entirely on your device. Your photos and images are never uploaded to our servers or any external server as part of the compression process. All processing happens locally, and compressed files are saved directly to your device's storage.

2. Information We Collect

Compress Image is designed to collect as little information as possible. Currently:

• We do not collect, store, or transmit the images you compress.
• We do not currently use any analytics or crash-reporting services.
• We do not require account creation or login.

Future versions of the App may introduce advertising (e.g., Google AdMob) and/or basic analytics or crash reporting (e.g., Firebase) to help us improve stability and support the app's development. If and when these are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance, and the relevant sections below will describe exactly what is collected and why.

3. Permissions Used

• Storage / Media access — to read the images you choose to compress and to save the compressed output back to your device.

Compress Image does not request internet access for its core compression functionality. Any future network-related permission (e.g., for ads or analytics) will be disclosed here at the time it is introduced.

4. Third-Party Services (Planned)

We do not currently integrate any third-party SDKs. If Google AdMob is added in a future release, it may collect device and advertising identifiers for ad delivery and measurement, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. If Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics is added, it may collect anonymized usage and crash data to help us fix bugs and improve performance. This policy will be revised with full details before either is enabled.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Since image compression happens offline, your photos are never shared with us or any third party through the App's core features.

6. Data Storage & Security

Compressed images are stored locally on your device. We take reasonable measures to ensure the App itself does not introduce security risks, but you remain responsible for the security of your own device and storage.

7. Children's Privacy

Compress Image is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights

Since Compress Image does not collect or store your images or personal data on any server, most data can be cleared simply by clearing app data or uninstalling the App. If future features (like ads or analytics) introduce any data collection, applicable rights (access, correction, deletion) will be described at that time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves — particularly when advertising or analytics features are introduced. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
